About Poland Lotto
Poland Lotto was first introduced in 1957. Back in the day, it was known as Toto Lotek. It stayed like that for 18 years – until 1975, when the name was changed to Duzy Lotek. Finally, in October 2009, the name was changed again, to Lotto Polska (Poland Lotto).
In 2012, the organizers of the lottery added Lotto Plus, which is an additional chance to win some money.

How To Play the Poland Lotto
In order to participate in the lottery, you need to pick six numbers from 1 to 49. You can either decide your own, or you can let a machine pick for you by choosing the ‘Quick Pick’ option.
Aside from the regular Lotto, you can also play Lotto Plus, which is an additional chance to become one of the winners. Just keep in mind that you have to first purchase a regular Lotto ticket – you cannot play Plus without it as it’s just an addition.
Right after the main draw ends, the Plus draw is done – you play with the same numbers you did in the main lottery game. Again, the numbers are drawn from the pool from 1 to 49. If you match all of them, you win 1 million zł.
It is worth mentioning that if you decide to take part in both Lotto and Lotto Plus, and your numbers end up being drawn in both of them, you will receive winnings from both lottery games, not just one.
If you decide to buy a ticket at one of the retailers, you can participate in yet another lottery game mode, called Super Szansa. On every ticket, there’s a number from 0000000 to 9999999 – however, only the numbers that you paid for participate in the draw. The draw is held on the same day that the main lottery game you paid for (in this case Lotto). To see if you won, compare the Super Szansa number on your ticket starting from the back with the one that was drawn. Your prize depends on how many numbers were the same.
Finally, you have the option to choose the System entry, which allows you to play with more than 6 numbers. While it is more expensive, you get the chance to play with 7 to 12 numbers, which will be submitted in every possible combination.
If you want to play with the same numbers in the next few draws, you can choose Advance Play for up to 10 consecutive draws. If you decide to participate in the Polish Lotto through the internet, you can sign up for a ticket subscription, which means that the numbers you picked will be automatically taking part in the lottery until you cancel the subscription.
