About Oz Lotto
Oz Lotto has been a source of entertainment to Australians for over two decades now. When it was first introduced, in February 1994, it was advertised as the first ever fully national lottery. During this time, the lottery has changed slightly (for example, in the beginning only six numbers were selected in the Oz Lotto draw) – however, what didn’t change is the enjoyment it brings the Australians.
How To Play the Oz Lotto
To participate in the Oz Lotto you need to pick seven numbers out of a pool between 1 and 45. If you don’t really know which numbers you’d like to play with, you can opt for the QuickPick entry, which assigns them to you randomly. To choose your own numbers, you need to play Marked entry.
There are two entries that increase your chances of winning – those are a System entry and a Pick entry. The first one allows you to play more numbers (from 8 to 20 instead of 7), while the second guarantees either one or two winning numbers.
If you’d like to participate in the lottery for more than one week, you can choose an advanced entry or a Multi-week entry – the first one allows you to play up to 10 weeks in advance, while the second lets you play up to 10 consecutive Oz Lotto draws. Finally, you can decide to purchase a subscription, with which you’ll be able to enter automatically either each draw or when the jackpot hits a certain level.
